FOTD // 01.10.19

Hey loves, I’m back with my first makeup post of 2019! For this year my goal is to wear makeup on a daily basis; especially to work. I’m always purchasing so much but never showing them in action but that’s about to change. Fingers crossed, that I will be able to post this on a daily and not get too far behind with them.

For today’s makeup, it was my first day back to work. I’ve been sick for the last 2 weeks and I honestly look super tired and still sick. So I wanted to start the new year off at work feeling and looking great. For today’s look I decided to try out some a couple of the items I recently purchased from Juvia’s Place and so far I’m very impressed. I created a very simple eye look using the Warrior 2 palette and the rocked some blush from the Saharan Blush Volume 2 palette. I will definitely continue to play around with these items and create some stunning looks.

Haul // Juvia’s Place

Hey loves, I’m back with my first haul of 2019. This probably will be one of my few posts about shopping but I’m very excited about it. I finally decided to purchase some palettes from Juvia’s Place. Right after Christmas, they had an amazing 50% off sale and I decided to grab a few things, I decided this was the best time to do it because I started my no buy on January 1.

I picked up 3 eyeshadow palettes, even though I’m not a big eyeshadow wearer. I know it doesn’t seem like it because I always buy eyeshadow lol. I wanted to try out both of the Warrior palettes and I also grabbed the Saharan palette as well. The Warrior palettes are great neutral everyday colours and the Saharan has great bright shades. I can’t wait to play in these shadows over the next few weeks.

Lastly, I picked up both of the blush palettes. Typically I stick to the sand blushes but these bad boys get such great reviews, that I couldn’t miss out on them. They definitely have a great range of colours and will met all my needs for all the seasons.

If you have tried these out, I would love to hear your thoughts on them. Once I try them out for awhile I will definitely be back with reviews.

Until next time!

Sliding into 2019!!

Happy New Years loves! I hope 2018 was good to you and you achieved a lot of your goals. I hope you had a great holiday seasons with all your loved ones.

2018 was a big year for me and I’m super happy that it’s finally over. I finically finished school in August and my graduation is coming up next month, which I can’t believe! I started my new career, working in a amazing dental office. Honestly, I’m apart of an amazing team and I’m happy beyond words.

I’m truly blessed for all the hardships and accomplishments I achieved this past year. But I’m so ready to take on 2019. I don’t typically do resolutions but I wanted to share with you my goals for this upcoming year. This year I really want to focus on getting healthy, I know I always talk about loosing weight on my YouTube channel but I definitely need to hold myself accountable. I’m currently at my heaviest and I’m not a fan of it but I definitely need to be focused. I will come back in another post once I start my journey again.

I also plan on not purchasing unnecessary amounts of makeup this year. This is going to be my biggest challenge but I’m always purchasing and never wearing it. I will continue with my monthly Boxy Charm subscription but I really won’t be buying anything. I will repurchase when I finish something and I actually need it but that’s about it. But this no buy also ties into my next goal for this year. Which is to wear makeup on a daily basis. It doesn’t need to be super glam but I definitely want to look put together. And feel good about how I look on a daily. Hopefully, I will be able to share with you daily the products I used.

Lastly, my biggest goal for this year is to enjoy life and find happiness. Happiness in myself, happiness in my daughters eye. And maybe even happiness in my love life. But only time will tell for that. But I’m definitely going to enjoy all the big and small events that this year has for me.

I’m wishing you all an amazing 2019 and until next time!

Haul // Benefit

Hey loves, I’m back with another quick haul. A couple days ago I was shopping at Shoppers Drug Mart and I found the best deal ever! Typically I don’t pick up makeup gift sets because it’s usually deluxe or mini sizes; and never full size. But Benefit was definitely killing it this holiday season.

They created the Magical Brow Star set that included 5 full size brow products, along with a full size double ended brow brush. This was only $79! Which is a steal because each brow pencil is $32. I purchased mine in shade #5. It comes with the Goof Proof Brow Pencil, Precisely My Brow Pencil, Fool Proof Brow Powder, Gimme Brow and Ka-Brow. I typically don’t use brow powder but very often but I couldn’t resist getting my hands on this product. I still see it in stores, so I would definitely grab it before it’s gone for ever.

What’s your favourite Benefit brow product? I would love to hear it in the comments down below.

Until next time!

Haul // Anastasia Beverly Hills

Hey loves, I’m back with a new little haul from Sephora. Recently, they been having a lot of sales, which is way more than usual, but I had to grab somethings. I’ve been really trying to slow down on my shopping but let’s be real, this is Shelesea we are talking about lol.

I only grabbed 2 items, this time around but I will definitely be back again because I did order a couple of their liquid lipsticks and I’m waiting for them to come in. But back to this haul, I picked up the latest palette in Sultry. Honestly, I picked it up because of the shade bloom, I really couldn’t resist getting it. I didn’t have this shade anywhere in my currently collection. And no better time to pick it up then when it was on sale.

I also finally decided to get the Amrezy highlight. I regretted not getting it when it first released but when I saw it back at Sephora and didn’t hesitate to add it to my cart. I was so excited that when I got it, I nicked it when I was opening it. It’s such a beautiful highlight and I can’t wait to start wearing it in the year new.

If you have picked up any of these, let me know in a comment down below your thoughts.

Until next time!

Haul // Glamglow

Hey loves, I’m back with a small skincare haul. Recently Shoppers Drug Mart started carrying Glamglow products that have been life changing for me. Typically I would purchase them at Sephora but now that they Shoppers, I will be purchasing them on a more regular basis.

I recently picked up the limited edition #GlitterMask Gravity Mud Firming Treatment. I’m not really worried about firm skin but I really just wanted to get it because of the glitter. You can never have too much glitter.

I also decided to pick up 10 more of their Bubble Masks. I know 10 seems like a lot but I use them weekly and I couldn’t pass up gaining the bonus points that day. I will definitely be back with a review on how much I enjoy this mask. It’s definitely my current favourite.

If you have tried this mask, let me know your thoughts on it. Or even your favourite mask from Glamglow.

Until next time!
