Boxy Charm // November 2018

Hey loves, I’m back with a late post. I love opening up my Boxy Charm boxes every month but sometimes I forget to open them lol. I know, how could I possibly forget?! But most months I do.

For this month the box was pretty amazing and I loved all the goodies I received and I can’t wait to try them out. Once the holidays settle down and work dies down a bit. In my box I received the CoverFX Glitter Drops in Nova. I didn’t realize they had glitter drops and I’m super excited to try it out. I think it’s going to be amazing to use mixed in body lotion; to give off the perfect glow for the holidays. But it’s also going to be a stunning healthy glow highlight.

Next, I received the Ace Beaute Grandoise Palette. This palette has the most beauty warm toned shades; which is right up my alley. I’m itching to use Rose, Poppy and Myrtle into a beautiful look. I can’t wait to play with these shadows and see how well they work together.

I also received the Luxie Luminous Eye Set, this set is going to be perfect for traveling with. They are the perfect size to fit into a travel size makeup bag and will leave enough space for all my other goodies. Best part is that I got a new pair of tweezers from Farah. Which is ironic because I recently misplaced my Tweezerman ones.

The last thing I received in my November Boxy Charm Box was the Bodyography Makeup Brush Cleaner. Which is the perfect addition to this box. You definitely can’t have too much brush cleaner.

If you got this months box, leave a comment down below letting me know your favourite item this month.

Until next time!

Haul // Birthday Goodies

Hey loves, I’m back with a overdue birthday haul. I decided to treat myself to some new goodies. And my lovely coworkers got me a gift card to Sephora and I definitely had to put it to good use.

I first stopped at my local Shoppers Drug Mart and grabbed the latest palette from Urban Decay. This Born to Run palette is beyond beautiful and I can’t wait to put it to some good use. It’s gonna be amazing for The Fall/Winter months. I can’t wait to create some beautiful looks with this palette.

Next with my Sephora gift card I picked up my first items from the Too Faced Peach Collection. I decided I wanted to try out the mini sizes of the Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer and Mattifying Setting Spray. I also wanted to try out the new Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder; also in a mini size. I did get the deluxe size sample of the Tarte Creaseless Concealer in Tan; along with the Makeup Forever Matte Velvet Skin Foundation in Y415. With this order I redeemed for a deluxe size of the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara, which is one of my favourite mascaras hands down.

Lastly, I decided to purchase more of my Sephora Collection sheet masks in Pineapple and Aloe Vera. I also grabbed another Pineapple Nose Mask because I find it works like a dream.

Definitely stay tuned for posts sharing my thoughts on these items, probably won’t post anything until I get a real feel of the items. If you have tried any of these items, I would love to hear your feedback on them.

Until next time!

Haul // ColourPop No Filter Foundation

Hey loves, I’m finally back with a new post. This one is a little longer over due. I recently purchased the NEW ColourPop No Filter Foundation. Well it’s not considered new now seeing it has been out for a few months now. I purchased this to treat myself for my birthday.

I purchased it in the shades Dark 155 and Dark 165. When ordering these foundations I found that there was a great colour selection. It was almost too good of a colour selection because I wasn’t able to decide on just one shade but I definitely think that I will be to work this the colours I picked out. I can’t wait to try them out for a Foundation Friday post. I hope that this foundation lives up to all the great reviews I have seen online. If you have tired this foundation out, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Until next time!

Influenster // Lays Poppable Vox Box

Hey loves, I’m back with a new Influenster Vox Box. Recently Influenster sent me some complimentary items from Lays and I was super happy to try them out. But unfortunately I wasn’t able to because my mom stopped by and misplaced the items. But that didn’t stop me from hitting up my local drug store and picking them up to try out.

I decided to try out the Sea Salt and White Cheddar flavours and I was really impressed. Typically I’m not a fan of plain chips but the Sea Salt was just enough to change it up for me. Out of the flavours that I have tried, I’m a huge fan of the White Cheddar flavour. These will definitely be something that I will continue to purchase. The best part is that my daughter loves them as well, which is a plus. She tends to be a picky eater at times.

I would definitely recommend you checking these out if you are into chips. I find that it’s a different texture which doesn’t bother me at all. If you have tried these out before, leave me a comment down below. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Until next time,

Foundation Friday // Becca Ultimate Coverage Foundation

Hey loves, I’m back with a NEW series on my blog. I’m constantly buying things and I always want to share my thoughts on them but I’m always late too post about the newest things. So I decided I would share my thoughts on different foundations, once a month or so. Mainly a first impression and wear test. Over time I will have videos posted on my YouTube channel where you can see how it applies.

But today, I wanted to share with you my first impression on the Becca Ultimate Coverage foundation in maple.  I’ve personally never worn any of their foundations before but I’m a huge fan of their highlights.  Recently I made a purchase from Sephora online and I was able to get a deluxe sample size to try and I was very impressed with it.

This foundstion is suppose to be a full coverage foundation with a 24hour wear. I would agree that it would be considered full coverage and I found it gave a very natural finish and was super lightweight on the skin. It was able to blur out my imperfections without much effort and didn’t leave me looking cakey at all. With this foundation I was able to wear it for about 11 hours without having to touch-up and at the end of the night I was still looking flawless.

Im definitely going to keep this sample in my foundation rotation and see how it continues to perform. I got it in  and I find that it’s a very decent match for me currently, especially with all the sun I have been getting. I do think if you are on the market for a new foundation, I would recommend you getting a sample from Sephira to try out and hopefully you enjoy it as much as I do. If you have tried out this foundation before, let me know your thoughts on it, in a comment below. I would love to hear from you.

Until next time,

Influenster // Le Petit Marseillais

Hey loves, I’m back with another post from Influenster. I received a couple samples of the Le Petit Marseillais Mandarin and Lime body wash to try complimentary from the brand. I have noticed this brand before while shopping in Shoppers Drug Mart. I was very happy to try it out, I’m always happy to see new things and not always stick to my regular routine. In my VoxBox it also came with a coupon with $2 off my purchase of a full size body wash from the brand, which I definitely used.

When shopping to purchase from this brand, I found it very hard to find. It wasn’t in my local Shoppers Drug Mart anymore, which is most convenient for me. But I was able to track it down at a Walmart. When I went to pick out a scent they didn’t have any options; just the mandarin and lime or white peach and nectarine. I found this very disappointing because I wasn’t to see all the available scents but wasn’t able to.

Even though I found it hard to get my hands on it. I did really enjoy the product. I enjoyed how it lathered up and had a soft scent. I find that the scents didn’t last very long, which works fine for me because I work in a dental office and I don’t want an overpowering scent that lingers. I did find that it was moisturizing and didn’t leave my skin feeling tight and dry. At the end of the day, I would recommend this product if you were on the market to try something new. I personally don’t think I would be purchasing it again, only because where I live there isn’t a Walmart in my area. But if I did see it at a Shoppers Drug Mart I would definitely purchase it. If you have tried out this product, leave me a comment down below and let me know your thoughts on it, I would love to hear back from you. And thank you again Influenster for giving me the opportunity of trying out this brand.

Haul // Sephora Collection Sheet Masks

Hey loves, I’m back to share with you the face masks I recently picked up from Sephora. Lately, I’ve been watching or reading a lot of posts with people incorporating face masks into their daily skin routine and I wanted to try some out. In the past I have tried sheet masks from Neostrata that I loved but I wanted to try some different ones.

I picked up a total of seven different masks to try. I picked up two face masks, two eye masks; and one for my nose, feet and hands. I definitely think these would be a great addition to my skincare routine. I definitely will be to share my thoughts on how they work out.

If you have tried any of these out, leave a comment down below. I would love to hear your experience with them.

Until next time,
